"Carnival of Sins" is a "circus gone bad" concept spectacular taking place under a huge circus tent stage set with pyrotechnics that are excessive, a fire-breathing midget, seductive aerialists and demonic clowns that will keep you roaring for more.
Directed by acclaimed, award-winning director Hamish Hamilton (U2, MADONNA, PETER GABRIEL),recorded live by Grammy Award-winning Jon Harris, mixed by Bob Rock and Mike Gillies (METALLICA, AEROSMITH) and shot using 20-cameras all in high-definition film look, this eyeball-popping production is a non-stop rock 'n' roll circus. "Carnival of Sins" is an exercise in visual and musical excess from both sides of the stage giving MTLEY CRE fans, and curious onlookers, a chance to see the ultimate rock n' roll experience from the safety of your own living room!
"Carnival of Sins" features 23 tracks spanning the CRE's entire career. All of the band's hits are performed, including "Too Young to Fall in Love", "Home Sweet Home", "Shout at the Devil", "Dr. Feelgood" and many more. The performance was recorded April 27, 2005 at the Van Andel Arena in in Grand Rapids, MI.
The tour, co-promoted by VH1 and VH1 Classic, drew record crowds around the world, with the group eventually playing before an estimated one million in the U.S. MTLEY CRE had offers from more than 100 cities for their summer run, many of them conducting "Bring the Cre" campaigns through local radio stations and media promotions that resulted in petitions being signed and a series of 55 additional dates added in the U.S. through the summer and fall.
